Managing Director -
Mrs. Feyi Soluade - George.
The Managing Director, Mrs. Feyi Soluade-George was born in Nigeria. She studied at the University of Lagos where she graduated with an honors degree in French and Philosophy, Diploma in Mass Communication and a law degree. She also attended the Nigerian Law School. Mrs. Soluade-George is also an attorney with specialty in Oil and Gas law. She has varied active experiences extending over thirty years in several facets of Oil and Gas operations. Her extensive industry experience is replete with several successful business ventures and accomplishments, which include:
- General counsel/Principal consultant with TotalfinaElf Oil Company for twenty years
- Chairman of a pipeline company HAK, during which she successfully bided for several pipeline maintenance jobs
- Major interest in Niger Gas, in cooperation with NNPC to process Edo Gas field
- Has interest in Petrodata Nigeria: first Nigerian company to store oil and gas field data in Nigeria.
- Member VANSO Inc.
- Member, Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE).
- Pioneer member and - Investor Niger Delta Plc. (First Marginal Field Operators in Nigeria)
- Served as the board of EcoBank, Ivory Coast for 10 years
Mrs. Feyi Soluade-George, in addition to several financial investments, is an active member of the community, participating in several positive programs with successful outcomes such as
- First Lady Ondo State for three years where she executed several successful projects, and key to women development was also executed.
- In 1983, published “Joint Venture Arrangement in Oil Developing Countries”.
- Organized in 1976 and 1981; “Oil Seminar in Nigeria by Oil Companies for Journalists in Africa”.
- Over thirty detailed publications on various aspects of women’s activities and international conferences/workshops where she has delivered key lectures on women development.
- Multilingual translator; speaks English, French, German and three principal Nigerian languages.
- Classic award for excellence in 1990.
- Best chairperson of Better Life Program by NAWOJ 1990
Mrs. Feyi Soluade-George has just been has just been nominated on the board of AFREN Global Energy Resources Nigeria Limited. (AGER) - An Exploration & Production Company. AGER is an affiliate of AFREN Plc. Uk - an E & P company quoted on the London Stock Exchange.
